As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#12739) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors,

I offer individual counselling for youth and adults. I have a Masters of Counselling Psychology degree from Athabasca University. It is a blessing to use my education and experience from working in various counselling settings over the last decade to serve you.

Do you ever think about whether you handle certain areas of life well? Feel you are not where you want to be, have too much going on, are stressed, put yourself last, and sometimes struggle with letting things go? If so, I invite you to meet with me so we can explore what is going on.

When we work together, you can expect that:

I will meet you where you are at, treat you with respect and dignity, and make sure the approaches I use fit your specific concerns.

The therapeutic approaches I may use when working with you are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, Self-Relations Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Find out more about these therapeutic approaches.

I believe what we think, how we feel, what we say and what we do comes from what is in our hearts.

There have been many times in my life where what I thought, felt, said, and did showed me that my heart needed help and healing.

Past experiences that I had no control over, my upbringing, and some choices I made all contributed to my heart not being as well or as healthy as it could be. Perhaps this is the same for you. If so, I want you to know that it's not your fault and there is hope.

Together we can improve your relationships, find clarity around the impact of life experiences, find freedom from shame, self-blame, and worry, and provide you with helpful tools for navigating life's challenges

At Encounter Counselling,

I am passionate about serving and supporting you towards a life full of peace, joy, hope, purpose, and connection.
